The start of a revolution begins with the pen of the minds who are silent.
It rumbles the inner most thoughts of those who thought the ground was steady. But rumble it too much, and it all beings to crumble.
What we want is simple. It’s moral and justified. We are the 99%.
We are lucky that we still have a fight left in us. We pray that it is not snuffed out by those who would steal our basic needs from us.
The rich get richer, and the poor get sicker.
And I am sick of it.
It makes me want to scream in your face. To force you to understand and see what you have hidden behind those dollars.
I only want you to see the facts. Not the facts they twist for you, but the cold- hard truth.
And if you are the 99%, why do you support them?
What have they done for you to help you put food on your table?
And to those who lay in the streets as we speak to change it all….
Thank You!
My wish is to join you someday.
And to those who call me a clueless High School Student who knows nothing about the world… Fuck You!
Just because I have a stronger sense of morality, doesn’t mean I don’t know about the world. I live here.
A new-born knows something about the world.
The difference between what a baby knows and what you or I know, is that a baby’s eyes aren’t clouded by greed or normalcy.
Why do kids stare at the homeless?
Why do they question the effects of a helpful lie?
Why do they see black and white, and never gray?
It is because of the morals we’ve created for them. They have yet to compromise them in order to succeed or get through a day without committing suicide over the injustices of the world.
You read my words, and still some shake your heads.
But what argument do you have against me?
Morals are not to be left out of politics. This is something we all know to be true. Yet it is a fact that many seem to ignore.
So where is your will to fight for what you believe in?
